A Journey Rooted in Heritage and Education
L.R.’s path began in a small town near Selma, Alabama called Sardis, weaving its way through the vibrant streets of Maywood and Bellwood Illinois. After attending Alabama State University, an HBCU known for its rich cultural and academic heritage, Leonard Ray Smith discovered his passion for cigars at age thirty. What started as a “bad habit with class” soon became his refined sanctuary, offering a calming break from everyday worries and a gateway into cigar culture.
